I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive Pay, benefits other companies don't offer like PAID maternity and PATERNITY leave and a ton more

    Cons

Long hours, on your feet all day except for breaks

    Advice to Management

Be more communicative. Associates are people and as such, they like to know what's going on within the company ;)

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent Pay and short hours. Atmosphere is pretty cool for the most part I guess. It’s not for everybody that’s for sure.

    Cons

One word! FAVORITISM. You can really only progress in this place if the sort slide “boss” likes you. Some people get assigned whatever job they ask for and if they don’t get it they just go do it anyway with no threats of being written up,while others are yelled at and threatened with a write up for “self assigning “. I’ve seen people moved from doing an excellent job to another because someone that management really likes wants to do that particular job for the day even though they suck at that particular job. 12 minute breaks.

    Advice to Management

Give everybody a shot to do everything in that building!!!

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Make rate and they let you cross-train in areas. I have been in the Las Vegas location since August and have been cross trained in for other areas. So I am not just stuck at processing all week.

    Cons

If you process all week it can get pretty boring. Time goes by slow processing 40 units an hour for 10 hour.

    Advice to Management

Make things fun. Encourage races between lanes. Not just individual power hours. If your in the back you have no chance.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Vacation time in conjunction with 4 day work week is great. I work 4 day 10 hour shift schedule which allows me to take 4 vacation days and get 10 days off.

    Cons

Stress at work can be overwhelming.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay to entry level associates.

    Pros

Stocks, VCP, Great benefits, Same schedule- it doesn’t change every week. Night shift differential. Good exercise. 3 days off on most schedules.

    Cons

Lack of leadership, Favoritism, Not consistent. Short Breaks. Underpaid, no real competitive pay. Redundant issues in the processing of items. Standing for long hours.

    Advice to Management

Be a leader, not a manager.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. Lots of opportunities to travel and relocate.

    Cons

Work life balance is non-existent. It's hard to adjust especially on night shift.

    Advice to Management

Look into alternating schedules (3 days one week, 4 days another)

I worked at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only benefits to working for this warehouse was the pay and benefits.

    Cons

Poor work/life balance, Poor management, Weak work policies, 40-59 hours a week work schedule,

    Advice to Management

Fix the rate for Sundays because the workflow leaves lines dry for hours. Get rid of Lane 1 aka " The Wind" every other lane will have higher rates than this lane always until you rid the lane or send more workflow towards it. Get on decanters and water spiders for not doing their job because it ruins normal processors rate who cannot afford to go off and flirt. Give everyone a rate they must meet not just processors.

    Pros

    The pay is good

    Cons

HR will never do anything to help you fix any problems you might have at work. I mean any problems you might have at work. There job there is pointless. I tried talking to them about a problem about discrimination towards a handicap and they just said we can't do any thing about it. Now that's a real real big shame because I work really hard at work to just be told I'm very sorry we can't help you people with your problem's. Now if I was in his shoes I wouldn't of said, and I quote, we can't help you PEOPLE, and I'm thinking did he just tell me you people, that shocked me that he said that, because I would expect that if your talking to Your Main HR Representative you would be treated with respect but I guess in this occasion it seems fine for him to discriminate myself because of my accident I had years ago and the only treatment I have for my missing fingers would be using marijuana because it became legal in January 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada I thought I would see if it helps with the pain I get in my hand and sin's I do work with both my hand's I would expect that it would help with the pain and it has very well. But I guess in occasion to his status it's not following policy what kind of policy has to tell you how to live your life in pain or no pain,
Job or no job. Please if theres any one with love in there harts please pary for me I don't know what will happen. I'm not some kid looking to have fun, I'm just a 28 year old father of two beautiful baby girl and boy and my wife trying to get thru life with Amazon as are income and it not working as we hoped. Know where not perfect but I don't have to be treated like a criminal or like I broke the law.
If anybody has any feedback be greatly appreciated thank you very much.

    Advice to Management

Please find some one that knows what there saying so this never has to happen to any one.
