I have been working at Amazon (More than a year)

    Pros

The leads and managers are very helpful and strive to help us become the best customer service representatives that we can be. It is a fun and exciting company that always creates new ways to keep their employees happy.

    Cons

The only thing that I don't like is that we don't have timecards. I have worked at a few different call centers and they have online timecards and sometimes I forget to clock in (but it is an easy fix).

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laid back, they feed you when ot is mandatory

    Cons

You have to kiss alot of butt to get ahead, theyou let the leads let other agents listen and SCORE you call audits which I thought was not aloud. I hate it here and can't wait to get out. If they went by scores and times I would be #1 but they only go by who kisses the most butt heard that before I started but it's a fact!!!

    Advice to Management

Get involved ad look at things closer. And don't. Say your care but NEVER get involved

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This place is wonderful to work at as a technician. Your co-works are easy to get along with and eager to teach. This will probably be one the best jobs you'll ever have. Over time is generally not offered but once a year during peak but you are garenteed 40 hours a week.

    Cons

If you enjoy night shift this isn't a con, but because the job is so great turnover is rare, decreasing your chances of getting on day shift. HOWEVER since this company is growing rapidly, and if your willing to move around there are endless opportunities.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay for unskilled labor. Great benefits if needed, overtime and bonuses are relatively plentiful Work 4 10 hour days, 3 days off, normally.

    Cons

Long, active work days. Heavy pressure to preform regularly. If mistake happens, harsh punishment.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with workers on floor could move up efficiency and ease pressure on workers rates.

    Pros

Amazing people, opportunities, and benefits. You have to be willing to work but if you are you will ne well rewarded, both financially and mentally.

    Cons

I honestly cannot think of anything that I would list as a con. The company asks everyone to identify faults and come up with solutions.

    Pros

    10% Amazon discount
Pool tables and Xbox to play on breaks
    Track to walk during breaks
    Free merchandise during holiday season

    Cons

Stressful to be on the phone with customers all day
The numbers you had to keep for your customer ratings could be difficult to meet.

    Advice to Management

Be cheerful with your employees. They are yelled at on a daily basis, a good job here and there would be awesome.
