Pros
If you're desprate to work, and happen to have felonies, bad DMV, or whatever. They will hire you. Good luck.....
Cons
Low pay, (for the work and many hours you will put in.
See for yourself, that's all I'm going to say about this.

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Flexible hours, great starting pay and great management and coworkers
Cons
Managers need to be more safety focused and advocate for warehouse safety.
I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)
Pros
-Best culture I’ve ever been apart of. Work in staffing and so I have to work with all departments (Ops, HR, Training, etc). The Staffinf department is super supportive and always helpful when there is a question or concern. You can reach out to anyone at any point in time during the day for help or support.
-Amazon is the most innovative and impressive company I’ve ever worked for! It’s so insane how quickly such a large company like Amazon can pivot and change directions when something is identified as a defect or something that doesn’t work. Simply incredible! Best company to work for and so many opportunities to grow!
Cons
No cons, seriously! What is there to complain about?!?! I work in staffing and am responsible for staffing tier 1 warehouse associates and pay and work is incredibly competitive and better than most surrounding companies. I worked at a staffing firm the prior 5 years to working at Amazon and BY FAR amazons pay, benefits, accommodations, and work conditions are better then the surrounding companies. But I guess people don’t like to work hard now-a-days so when amazon expects a certain level or productivity people then get mad and think Amazon is the worst. Amazon in Minnesota pays $15.50/hr, accepts prayer breaks, and even has part-time health benefits....no other company around would even imagine offering all of those.

Pros
Great job if you need one and you just left prison for murder or just need a throwaway job between better things.
Cons
Bad for humans, great for robots. On-the-job injuries will be reclassified as pre-existing conditions.
I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
Casual dress and 4 day work week.
Cons
Lack of leadership. Disrespect of team members. Managers were told to wear fit bits so upper leadership could make sure they weren't spending too much time on their computers. Promotional opportunities given to unqualified based on their culture. Good old boy mentality.
Advice to Management
Treat your onsite leadership team with respect.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than 8 years)
Pros
Competitive wage
Free bus cards
Controlled temperature system
Cons
I was an employee of amazon for 8 very long months. It is a very physically demanding job. The repetitive movements doing the same actions 4000+ times a day takes a toll on joints and specific muscles. At the end; I had been going to an acupuncturist and chiropractor to help elevate pressure / pain which was costing a significant amount with high deductible insurance. I now also have shin splints.
The continued pressure to move faster makes a person feel inferior no matter how you try. Monthly Productivity bonus is per entire warehouse percentage and not given on individual bases.
The atmosphere is depressing in general.
You can go days without communication with management or other staff. When you are able to speak to your manager it is rushed.
I had 5 managers in 8 months. There is a big inconsistency between management because of this and overall direction is not clear.
The training group I started with had over 30 people at the start of peak 2017. When I left amazon there were 3 left of that group but most left about 3 months after start.
Advice to Management
Customers are amazons top priority. Which is great but your staff are also your customers. Treat them with the respect they deserve.
I am no longer an amazon employee nor a customer.
I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Awesome benefits package and competitive pay.
Cons
Ask every question you can think of before moving around in the company.
Advice to Management
Be more transparent in compensation and expectations.
