I worked at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazon has great benefits for their managers. Stock options are worth it if you stay and do your time. Manager outings are fun when your allowed to have them

    Cons

HR doesn’t support managers as they should. Many managers have lost their jobs due to a false associate complaint or disagreements. Senior managers and Operations Managers do play favorites and will hold you back from progressing to ensure their operations stays successful

    Advice to Management

If you are able to endure the culture and the hours you will be successful. You have to have a backbone and know your rights as manager. Connection scores are important to HR and your prejudge based on those scores. So make sure you build a well engaged team.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly competitive environment. The overall culture when comming into work make you feel like you’re not really at work. Most of the leadership is what builds the culture occasionally approaching you and simply converse with you. Really building a manager associate relationship.

    Cons

Expectation can be way too high on occasions sometimes makes associates work ethic decline as they are given a goal that’s near impossible to reach.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the type in freight in building corresponds to realistic eos goal

    Pros

This company has a great culture about it and was a joy to work for, would recommend.

    Cons

The hours can be bad and sometimes the other employees are annoying but during peak the worst thing is if you are donut shift (MT ThF) you have to park off site and take a bus.
