I have been working at Amazon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Leadership Principles are used in developing employees who excel at their job. Managers support upward and lateral mobility as well as encouraging employees to do their best!!! Never experienced anything like it, positive experience.

    Cons

Really no cons with my experience, just keep in mind that you have to be very flexible. Company is an incredible opportunity if you are flexible and motivated.

    Advice to Management

    Keep us the good work.

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good for the work. Most people will help you if you are visibly struggling. Most of the supervisors were friendly. There is always overtime opportunities and sometimes chances to leave early if you want. They often have prize giveaways and incentives.

    Cons

    - Working in there with no music feels like absolute DEATH. -The floor feels awful on your feet - get comfy shoes. -The break starts from the moment you punch out, and you spend half of the quick breaking walking to and from your station. Overall, the job is mentally draining for a person that hates silence (except for Machines 247), and doesn't like working independently for too long.

I worked at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

      Pros

If you are wanting to work a lot of hours, you will get that opportunity.

      Cons

They will tell you to work overtime on a moments notice, and the job itself is very physically demanding. Corporate acts as though they try to create a positive culture and make you think they care about you, but it is very disingenuous.

      Advice to Management

Spend less time training us on things that are obvious, and spend more quality time on things your employees clearly are confused about or continually ask questions on.
