I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazon has many perks too many to name but my favorite is the work week set-up. I love working 4-10 hour shifts as it gives you work/life balance. The pay is great and the options for a monthly bonus opportunity is a great incentive for making sure that you do your best and work all of your scheduled shifts. The benefits are some of the best that I have had and I have worked in various industries, so I have something to compare. There is so many growth opportunities and chances to travel and relocate. I could go on and on, but these are some of my favorite

    Cons

I don't have any cons at this time. I am completely satisfied with what I have experienced thus far

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are clear on what to expect hours-wise and there are plenty of shifts to pick up if you care to

    Cons

Gigantic warehouse and the majority of your break will be spent walking all the way to the employee breakroom. Training is not very thorough on what you'll actually be doing, and unless you find a 'permanent' employee willing to take you under their wing and show you around, you'll be a little lost.

Benefits, co- workers, breaks, decent pay, VTO

    Cons

Managers are horrible, heat, want you to be a robot

    Advice to Management

Worry about person being a hard worker and not so much about consistent rate

I worked at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Pay, Nice Employees, Benefits are okay

Everybody I worked with was extremely nice(I worked on shipdock) My boss was fantastic and she really helped on the front lines with the rest of us.

    Cons

Long hours, Rubbish Schedule(Especially nights), Excessively tough work, Not accommodating when it comes to injuries.

Due to prime week I became hospitalized from dehydration and malnutrition, I experienced seizures and had to spend a bit in the ER because of it. I was fired because my UPT fell below zero even though they reached out to me to find out what was wrong, they never responded to my replies, and fired me.

    Advice to Management

Get your supervisors on the front lines and working individually with your employees. During my time employed at Amazon, the supervisors always seem out of touch with how we all felt and seem to not care very much. They were more worried about statistics and numbers.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, focus on one call resolution, caring management, encourage out of box thinking, employee discount

    Cons

Minimal advancement opportunity for part time associates, can be high volume, always changing atmosphere

    Advice to Management

Part time associates want opportunity for advancement, too. Not everyone can work a full time schedule. Sadly, many talents are wasted by under utilizing the part time CSRs. Take the advice given by experienced reps, and find ways to avoid duplication of efforts. Also, if CSRs see a trend, please give us the benefit of knowing what we are talking about. Continue making the W@H reps feel like part of the team! Knowing we aren't alone makes all the difference on rough days.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

When you have excellent employees, try to accommodate their schedules instead of forcing them to quit because they can't work the hours you reassign them to.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The main pro about the reserve customer service associates is the flexibility and the ability to make your own schedule as well as to work from your home.

    Cons

As a customer service associate you take phone calls via computer. You are monitored by the response you receive from the callers as to whether you helped them or not. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to affect this. It can be a company policy that you are the messenger of, and the customer is not happy and grades you harshly. You can lose your job if you get a low Positive Response rate.
