I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazon just in the name is a great company for any speech. Although many people would avoid a warehouse classified job, it is a great opportunity for many people.

    Cons

The night shift is a pain for the first few weeks. But when you get used to it, it is not that bad considering the extra 50 c pay you get.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Stress free environment. Skillful workforce. Fine organization at every aspect of all operations.

    Cons

No freedom to be creative as far as troubleshooting. All a technician has to do is to follow steps refereed on documentation. It may be perceived as a perk since one takes less responsibilities over their shoulders but on the other hand it might limit their skills.

    Advice to Management

    None.

    Hot warehouse environment
    too much walking!

    Advice to Management

sector off the warehouse more smaller sections would raise pick rate and employees wouldn't have to walk as much.

    I worked at Amazon full-time

    Pros

Instant benefit package, full time work with three days off, decent starting pay for wearhouse work, big business means job security.

    Cons

10 hour work days doing physical labor tears up your body. Management treats you like cattle. There is no respect, you are only a number in the herd. When I worked there they had increased the expected target stow numbers for Christmas... Then after the season they decide to just make that the permanent target rate, and never decreased it. If you work there they own your soul. This is a warm body job. They didn't even interview the group of people I was hired with, they just need a warm body for manual labor.

    Advice to Management

Calm down and treat your employees like humans. leaving peoples humanity intact will go a long way toward pride in work and job happiness. It will also decrease the high turnover rate.
