I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart coworkers , salary, stocks, opportunity for growth. Excellent bullet point on your resume. Companies will poach you eventually for your Amazon experience. Being part of a company that's the leader in what it does.

    Cons

Implement then fix it mentality, all about velocity , focusing on doing things rather than doing it right. The problem is that one shouldn't expect a 40 hour work week. They changed a lot after The NY Times article but old timers who are in the upper echelons of management still believe in it.

Lot of work, especially prime day. You might have to work different shifts. You have to keep your eye on the prize!!!

    Advice to Management

Keep the focus on the people

Opportunity to make more money because they offer a lot of ot.

    Cons

Your feet will be on fire, due to long hours standing.

You would get better productivity if associates are not burnt out from the long hours and extra days.

I have been working at Amazon part-time

    Pros

    Great hours
    Opportunities to make more money
    Positive personalities from managers
    Rewarded for working hard
    Recognized for hard work

    Cons

Not really Amazons fault; but customers seem to not be given information at the forefront on how policy's work. Such as return policy's, return windows, auto renew settings on all trial memberships. A good amount of calls are mistakes that were made from customers that could be fixed if customers had been required to read Amazon's policy's instead of them looking based on their own decision.

  10. "Good"
