    Cons

Imagine being in a video game . You learn how to manage the controller to navigate the game to win each level . With each win you gain a mass of knowledge and or tools to overcome the next level . Everything is smooth sailing and just when you are about to level up an unknown boss you must defeat suddenly holds you back from achievement . There are no cheat codes and friends can be foes , wolf in sheep's clothing . No one to trust and no way to win . In order to survive you must become a slave. You have to document everything and even if your're right retaliation may be your punishment. Whole groups become your enemy . you can trust no one . your alone scared . everything you do is manipulated into someone else logic that is coincidence enough to get you written up or worse fired . you try to go on move along and stay and your place . but then you just you realize all those surving have drunk the kool aid and you are next in line to be oblivious and say things like if you just do your job you will be fine ..no promotion no growth . If you are lucky enough to boss up you may ha

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Amazon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Especially the warehouse positions, it isn't difficult work. It's a bit monotonous, but never hard.

    Cons

Always changing how you do your job, and not always for the better. Lots of metrics quoted and attached to how you should be working without regard for how they have the process implemented.

    Advice to Management

Get your shift managers a bit more hands on experience, they are a bit disconnected from the process and tend to be harsh for no reason.

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No one bothers you while you do your job. It is easy to come to work, do your job, and go home. The hours were decent; allows time for classes or a second job. I worked the 5:15am to 9:15am shift and loved it. Overall a pretty cool place to work. It can get busy at times, but nothing overwhelming.

    Cons

Training could be more organized and the communication between management and the employees could be a lot better.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate more effectively!
