    Pros

Benefits day one. Decent hourly pay with overtime opportunity. Flexibility taking time off when needed.

    Cons

Huge building with very few short breaks. Half of break is walking from work area to break room, outside, etc.

    Advice to Management

Skip useless and irrelevant orientation videos and explain job specific processes before throwing new employees into active work situations.

I have been working at Amazon part-time

    Pros

Work from home, flexible scheduling, create your own schedule, training is good.

    Cons

Training is rushed, this job takes extremely long to start, I do not recommend this job if you need to pay bills or expect to start within a month of hiring, yes training is paid but its only 50 hours and once you complete that you are stuck waiting (at least in my experience) The waiting period is the longest I've ever heard of. Hard to get clear answers and lots of wrong information has been sent out.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the information is correct before sending out emails. Make sure you are sending out equipment to everyone and if you don't then offer a solution or get it sent out right away. Normally when people take jobs they intend to actually start working within a reasonable time from of hiring... not still waiting nearly 3 months later. Seems like poor planning and like you don't really care about the reserves employees. I was so excited for the opportunity to work for Amazon but I have been disappointed with how slow everything seems to take them on the employee end of things.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay. And stock.

    Cons

ZERO work life balance. Everyone is out for themselves. Your boss will embarrass you in front of your associates and peers. Your manager doesn't take time to train you. You are not properly trained.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to put on a show.

    Pros

    > You'll be paid for your each and every amount of blood sucked. If you're okay with it, feel free to try Amazon.
    > Growth opportunities are tremendous.
I didn't stayed for too long.

    Cons

    > No Free Food. Hated Amazon because of it. In the name of FRUGALITY they'll try to cut everything they can.
    > Most of the engineering task is related to maintenance instead of development. You might want to watch for it, if you are in India.

    Advice to Management

Work stress is quite high. It should be reduced.
