    I worked at Amazon part-time

    Pros

Making your own schedule, that's if you can pick up shifts.

    Cons

    - you have to be glued to your phone to pick up shifts. If you are more than 1 or 2 minutes late to pick shifts, then you are SOL.
    - no guaranteed hours, even though they make it sound like you will be getting a set schedule
-they keep hiring more workers, which means more competition to pick up shifts

    Advice to Management

Have a system where job performance equals to higher priority to picking shifts.

I have been working at Amazon (More than a year)

    Pros

Corporate employees are treated as humans and have some semblance of work/life balance.

    Cons

Discriminatory employment practices, hostile and retaliatory work-setting. Lack of consistency and unhealthy form of encouraging competition. Corporate has no clue the way business is being conducting in the Fulfillment Centers and, in scenarios where they were informed, they chose to understate the circumstances.

Deceiving Stock options; always following the carrot - even during Performance Reviews.

    Don't drink the Kool-Aid!

    Advice to Management

Beware: your unlawful employment practices will catch up to you at some point.
