I have been working at Amazon part-time

    Pros

The only pro is having a job?

    Cons

There are hardly fans in the building. It's always hot. The pay does not factor out correctly with the amount of work taking place in those conditions. Walmart warehouse workers receive at least 4 dollars more than what Amazon is paying. That is a shame coming from a company that wants their customers to be happy! If employees are overworked and underpaid, how can you expect to have boxes delivered without any incidents. The company gave out small snacks and refreshments for prime week. I would prefer to be PAID or receive monetary incentives for the extra work and labor. Another thing that must be addressed is the demand for employees to exhaust themselves by doing 180 packages an hour. I would advise Amazon to stop doing virtual HR for everything because the ambassadors need guidance on how to become better leaders. You have to lead by example. Not working and following employees into the restroom to watch them is a shame. We are all adults and things of this nature shouldn't happen.
