I have been working at Amazon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great work life balance. Dont take work home Rarely am I asked to work extra and most times I take on more because I have the capacity too. Walking distance from my house We have dogs to hang out with on lunch and breaks

    Cons

Open office environment can be a little distracting, but we have quiet rooms and conference rooms and many offices to go work at. Shift changes every 6 months.

I worked at Amazon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Amazon makes you feel like you have infinite opportunities within their culture as long as you work hard and stay diligent. Working at AWS will make you ambitious beyond what you thought you were capable of.

    Cons

Competitiveness and burn out. You will see your team mates cry regularly. You will not recieve honest feedback. There is little reward and no incentive after the honeymoon phase of starting at Amazon. Be prepared for work drama. Poor coaching and feedback from upper management. Everyone plays the blame game. Be very afraid to have to use the bathroom outside of your breaks.

I have been working at Amazon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

insurance, stable hours, pay is above minimum wage

    Cons

leads and managers are there to help the company not the employee, management has said repeatedly stated that they recognize our tools are broken, that they recognize the impact this makes on our workflow, and that they have no plans to fix this and we just have to get over it because it's our job to deal with it

    Advice to Management

treat your employees as if they matter, instead of prod monkeys that are a metric on a piece of paper to you

    Cons

Court not excusable for time off work so save your time for court if you ever have to go.

    Advice to Management

get rehires back if it is due to just attendance allow them to come back. if it is for something serious then dont allow them to come back, or just forgive and forget, give a 1 year wait period and allow them to come back. I Was a top 50 for 3 months.
