I worked at Amazon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great job to move up and experience great position to have for life. Prize opportunity for competition during a peak period. Water machines every 50 feet or so. They have a grace period for clocking in late or early. Also offer overtime most time . Everything is electronic and unless you work indirect then your rate and progress updates immediately.

    Cons

All kinds of different people and everyone thinks different. Tad strictly ran if u don’t follow simple rules

    Advice to Management

Care more for employees. Understand people start there and are not in the shape to do those kind of jobs . Should offer a start up physical curve along with learning

I worked at Amazon full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Your shifts are 10-12 hours so you're only working 4 days a week for full-time. They care a lot about their people. Safety is a big priority. Their system is very well done so there's little guessing you have to do. Opportunities for promotion if interested.

    Cons

You can't easily change shifts until you've been there a while. Not a con for me, but some felt lonely because you're in a delivery van by yourself for 10-12 hours per shift. You are delivering 150-170 (sometimes more) packages a day. Mandatory overtime weeks during peak (Prime Days, Christmas, etc.)

I have been working at Amazon full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you want to move up the career ladder this is the company to work for. Amazon gives great hands on training as well classroom training. Amazon helps you to be your best!

    Cons

With Amazon you will work a lot of hours. However it better prepares you for future jobs. Amazon is very good at paying great salaries. Even better if you come from the outside in. But if you transfer to another job within Amazon the pay will not be as high as if you come in from the outside.

    Advice to Management

Amazon has great management teams. They hire the best and then train you to be better.
