I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They paid on time and they supplied gloves and locks for lockers.

    Cons

No flexibility in regards to change in scheduling. Pay wasn't very good. There was not much time to eat and not much room for growth. I felt like a number rather than an employee.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

benefits package.that is the only pro

    Cons

Sweat shop, long hours, low pay, bathroom breaks are monitored, the safety of employees are compromised causing high workplace injuries and even after employees are injured, they are forced to work through their injuries!! and I've watched employees faint requiring medical attention from the cause of heat exhaustion due to poorly ventilated warehouses which Amazon is negligent about. Working here most employees quit in 3 months to a year. I witnessed this all as a former trainer

    Advice to Management

For all of the hard work, long hours and dedication that the warehouse employees are putting into the success of Amazon, there should be a much greater amount of respect shown. This company proudly boasts about the billions of dollars being made but heavily neglects care or concern about what's happening to their hardest working employees in their fulfillment centers

I have been working at Amazon (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours, pay, fast paced so time goes by sort of quickly, don't have to go to someone to get a day off or wait for it to get approved as long as you have UPT, vacation or PTO it is all up to you how you want to use it all, tons of different ways on how you can voice your opinion

    Cons

seems like all they want to do is write people up, you tell management your troubles but seems like nothing gets done about it, the rate you have to get everyday is ridiculous, breaks are too short because by the time you do your last scan and walk to the break room, its time to walk back so you can scan something by a certain time and dont get in trouble for being a min late from break

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great work environment, easy going management, plenty of room to grow.

    Cons

Hours low, wages are fairly low, a lot of times there is not much work to do outside of holiday season

    Advice to Management

I would hope you manage employee hours better and offer better compensation for those who have to stay late because of poor decision making by management
