I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the greatest management I have ever worked for. Fast paced and driven work environment. Huge amount of employee resources. Great benefits and ample opportunity for promotion

    Cons

Your safety is in your own hands, so be careful and thoughtful. The labor can be tough from time to time, but never asked to do more than what you are able to do. It can also be pretty noisy, not factory level but typical warehouse ruckus.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing!!! The team is only as good as it's leadership, and you guys rock! Thank you for making a pleasure to show up every day!

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, much opportunity for overtime during peak, satisfying work. Take safety very seriously, concerned about your well being and always has associates complete surveys.

    Cons

The management is very poor. They don't pay attention to what the associates have to say and lazy workers seem to get the upper hand. People don't treat others with respect nor decency.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the problems reported and follow through with fixing them.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people and great pay for an individual working on a college degree. The people here really care about safety and our benefits are amazing.

    Cons

Do not get too attached to your manager as most are switched out on a yearly basis. Not all manager come from within the company so when we get them from outside of the company we have to teach them and even then they can only comprehend somethings.

    Advice to Management

Always learn, trust your PAs, respect your associates, make sure to show gratitude when needed while at the same time not beating around the bush when giving a coaching.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay arrives on time. Parking lot gets cleared of snow pretty well in winter time. They give you windbreaker things when you have to stand outside due to fire alarm in the winter.

    Cons

Most "rules" are unwritten, are presented differently by each manager, and change a lot. Negative atmosphere. Inadequate training. Dangerous practices: "team lift" policy, for example, is a joke ... paper protection for company against lawsuits.

    Advice to Management

Stop acknowledging how bad you are at communication and do something about it! Don't be scared to write a few things down so people have some idea what's what.

Oh, and how did it come to pass that managers' favorite sport is catching people violating break-times? ... Actually taking pictures from concealed positions in one instance ...

And the company propaganda posted at eye-level above the urinals? Come on! Why aren't those propaganda posters above the toilets in the office restrooms?
