I worked at Amazon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Plenty of new initiatives to get involved with Surrounded by some of the best and brightest talent Best in class facilities and perks Better than average stock options

    Cons

Teach yourself what you need to learn. It's a busy environment and most colleagues don't have time to get you up to speed. An expectation to put in late night hours if you really want to stand out and get ahead.

    Advice to Management

Career development programs could be more formalized.

I worked at Amazon full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Get to work a lot with people who generally want to work

    Cons

Have to work all the time, even if you are far more talented - hours are put in simply for face Delivering results is not the priority. As the company grew the politics and middle managers olbiterated the professional work culture and made it into a work deathmarch one.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue and hold L7 + accountable - its absurd.

I have been working at Amazon full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Amazon is customer-obsessed. Customers are at the center of every action taken, which gives me a lot of confidence in the company and its future.

    Cons

Employee self-service is taken to extremes in some cases, which can impede productivity.

    Advice to Management
