I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Absolute ownership by everyone, regardless of position. Management has some of the smartest people employed I've ever met. If you are a hard worker, expect to earn more and more while getting promoted.

    Cons

You will work long...something I never prided myself on doing. Smart - yes. Hard - yes. But there is an expectation as a manager to work 50 hours a week.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Education of transportation and logistics if allowed to advance.

    Cons

No career advancement without college degree and extreme homophobia which is treated with a blind eye.

    Advice to Management

Listen and see what is really going on here and treat people the way you would like to be treated or your family would be.
You keep people where you want them with no advancement opurtunities.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay
If identifying data trends is your talent then this is your place to be.
Everyday is ‘Day one’ can be good or cumbersome it depends
Your input as a employee is valuable
    Work life balance

Amazon has been that company I have admired the FC ‘make it happen’ teams.
And I am apart of a company with great people.
I love it here! Amazon truly invest and value their employees and it does matter if you’re super smart (which there’s a lot of them here, lol) or just a consistent hard worker.
As a Amazonian your input is valued!
Because it’s the coolest company on the planet! Keep up the good work Amazonians and let’s keep pushing the bar of excellence! #makinghistorywhilehavingfun!

    Cons

Day one the cumbersome side. Workload constantly changing. So be prepared to work hard and efficiently.

    Advice to Management

Work on bridging the communication gap and provide concrete metrics on teams overall performance (this is easier said than done) but it’s important for team members to identify what is required.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits.
Lots of employee engagement. Lunches, activities, ways to provide positive feedback.
Regular review cycle and pay increases.
Lots of opportunities to transfer teams.

    Cons

It's hard to figure out where certain issues belong. People come to you for help, but it isn't something you do, and you have no idea where to tell them to go.
Lots of ambiguity in job scope. Documentation gets outdated quickly.
It seems to be difficult to promote from L4 Hourly to L4 Salary.
Every year there is a re-organization that changes which teams report where. It causes some confusion about what direction the cart is being pulled. A re-org caused a hiring freeze, when the positions were still very much needed.

A lot of down time after peek every year
    good for part time

    Cons

Depending on the position work could be mind numbing
Full time is probably not worth it

    Advice to Management

Higher Pay and be more willing to promote within.

    Pros

Schedule is fixed. You get to work overtime frequently. Awesome benefits, nice brand new FC to work in. Amazon, supplies you with everything you need to do a first class job.

    Cons

They can take a long time to fill job openings.

    Advice to Management

Let the Managers on site fill the job openings. HR in Arizona takes forever to give our FC quality candidates to interview.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are excellent and you receive discounts on several things.

    Cons

The base pay sucks. They claim to pay a competitive wage, but several warehouses in the area start they're employees off 2-3 dollars for doing the same job. Most of management are college students who've never had a job before let alone being in charge of anything.
