Depending on the position work could be mind numbing
Full time is probably not worth it

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Schedule is fixed. You get to work overtime frequently. Awesome benefits, nice brand new FC to work in. Amazon, supplies you with everything you need to do a first class job.

    Cons

They can take a long time to fill job openings.

    Advice to Management

Let the Managers on site fill the job openings. HR in Arizona takes forever to give our FC quality candidates to interview.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are excellent and you receive discounts on several things.

    Cons

The base pay sucks. They claim to pay a competitive wage, but several warehouses in the area start they're employees off 2-3 dollars for doing the same job. Most of management are college students who've never had a job before let alone being in charge of anything.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team, funny environment, fast, the drive to push you, comfy, in the loop of Chicago, company outings, and being apart of one of the greatest companies in the world.

    Cons

In the loop of Chicago, getting to and from is hard, parking is pricey, sometimes you have to deal with unruly customers and works, and work can be stressful at times

    Advice to Management

I guess make it a little easier to return for previous employees but the team is great there and so are the management.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazon has excellent benefits all around (investment, health care, and bonuses). Additionally the environment in which a field transportation associate works allows for being outside of facility the majority of the time, heavy interaction with most departments, and the ability to create software solutions on the fly to automate task that would otherwise take a lot of time.

    Cons

Pay is decent for certain aspects of the position; however, the pay is not compatible with previous positions held at other companies and is not very competitive given skill sets expected of an employee in this role.

    Advice to Management

Keeping employees in this position is imperative to ensuring the security of the truck yard. While the benefits are really good, retaining high quality employees often requires a company to step up their game regarding actual pay.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazon is an equal opportunity employer with a rich culture full of values such as teamwork, comradery, and determination.

    Cons

Honestly within Amazon it is what you make it. Hard Work and Determination are key in surviving in this environment.

    Advice to Management

More formal training for newer Leadership brought in from outside of Amazon as well as more standardized training for leaders switching departments.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazon is an amazing place to work. The company is constantly growing furthering career security. Full time employees get amazing benefits, Time off, and other perks. If you work hard you will go very far as they try to promote from within. The work can be challenging but if you're like me the challenge is always rewarding. Most shifts are four 10 hour days allowing you a solid three days to recharge and relax.

    Cons

    Can not think of one!
