    Pros

    flexible working hours, good compensation if getting highest performance.

    Cons

    bad management, power struggle, defective evaluating system, imbalance information to employee, go downhill when more competitors into consumer camera.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to employee and build a solid communication system between manager and employee. Hire smart people and treat them better.

    For a Chinese-speaking engineer, Ambarella is a very comfortable environment to work.

    Cons

    The company focuses on hardware development. For software engineer, the career opportunity could be somewhat limited.

    You get to work on multiple areas. You will never get bored.

    Cons

    During crunch time, you are expected to work long and response to email late at night. No one tells to do so, but the atmosphere leads you to.

    Should support engineers to take courses at nearby colleges for personal development.
