I worked at Ambassador College Bookstores full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working a full time position in just 24 hours a week. With supervisors who work hundreds of miles away, and as a manager you were fully dependent on your own discipline.

    Cons

To resolve issues that required the input of upper management, it had to be done by phone and or email, therefor it might take some time to complete. Less a problem for me as a manager, and more so for customers. I do not like unhappy customers!

    Advice to Management

I can offer none, Ambassador really is/was a company that cared, and did all it can to keep managers and customers happy. They did in fact, succeed!

    Pros

This company is excellent to work for and cares a lot about their employees. They are very supportive and have excellent communication. The pay is good for the hours that you work.

    Cons

You basically work by your self all day so you have to be self motivated but I was OK with that.

I have been working at Ambassador College Bookstores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The age difference of the employees. Most of them are good responsible workers and do a good job.

    Cons

Alot of employees are not contributing to the overall work atmosphere. They do only what they have to do.

    Advice to Management

Start treating the new employees better. Start getting rid of or disciplining the dead weight of some of the employees who have been there for awhile. Start training newer employees to be able to do all functions of the work areas.
