    Pros

    Salaries are good, bonus schemes competitive and achievable. They do great work for their clients and candidates but internally things aren’t what they were. Culture was always key but under the current Australian MD things have taken a turn for the worse.

    Cons

    A number of key long term employees have departed and the ‘heart’ of the business is all but lost. It’s such a shame to see and I genuinely hope they find a way back. It used to be a great place to be.

    Advice to Management

    Win the hearts and minds of your people again. It’s not too late to start listening.

    Used to have a great culture and people

    Most of experienced and long term employees consultants and managers left from the Sydney office, Little IP and industry experience left internally
    Rolling out a completely new operating model for the last 1-2 years which hasn’t still been implemented successfully

    Management to go on training courses
    Senior Management to learn to take responsibility for failures within the business and make changes

    Let go of your egos and have some integrity (it's part of your values)
    Focus on the basics of recruitment and being successful rather than changing an already failing business

    - Friendly atmosphere with a great culture.

    - Comprehensive Learning & Development program.

    - Accessible leadership team and opinions listened to.

    - Passionate about service to both clients and candidates.

    - Innovative when it comes to the service offering.

    - Lots of social activities to get involved with.

    - I really like that they donate to your chosen charity as a birthday gift for each employee globally.

    - Need to tighten up on poor performance and manage those that are not on board with company values.

    More link up and events between interstate offices

    -Great culture, very welcoming and friendly teams.

    -Very accessible Learning & Development team with great training.

    -Good sized organisation, big enough to have strong resources behind you but small enough that it still feels like you're working with friends.

    - Strong promotion of ethical, responsible recruitment and good internal audit policies.

    - Very clear outline on what needs to be done if you want to move up in the company. very clear structure and good internal opportunities if you want them

    Cons

    The business needs to be quicker to exit people who are not displaying good qualities or capabilities.

    Advice to Management

    It's a great company with a great team but more opportunities for team building/internal events would be appreciated.

    Pros

    Ambition really cares about its employees and strives to keep us happy and positive at every step. The culture is flawless - professional, friendly and hardworking; the work-hard play-hard attitude totally applies. Support is available whenever it is needed and really makes a high pressured and deadline heavy job hugely enjoyable and rewarding. Not only are there great opportunities for progression, fresh graduates that are new to recruitment receive in depth training, tailored to their specific strengths and weaknesses.

    Cons

    Compared to other office jobs it could be said that the hours are longer than other companies. However, more often than not people are either coming in earlier or leaving later than these times anyway. You need self-motivation in this job and you get out what you put in. It's completely in your hands to how committed you are.

    Advice to Management

    There really isn't anything negative for me to say to management. As far as advice goes I would say keep doing what you're doing because I feel completely in the loop with the company and know that I could approach any member of management with a potential issue.
