I worked at Amcor Rigid Plastics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay. Great benefits. Some extra curricula.

    Cons

Mandatory overtime. 60+ hr work weeks. Limited advancement within company. Annual reviews are completely arbitrary and never reflect the work done the previous year. They are just copy/paste of what upper management expects to see. Deliberately very understaffed. Does not train employees( sink or swim mentality)

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting human resources to save money. Replace employees who leave and take time to train new employees and cross train existing employees. Bring back personal incentives in addition to across the board raises.

I have been working at Amcor Rigid Plastics full-time

    Pros

Most of the people are nice to work with, and some are downright exceptional. Bonuses are good.

    Cons

Some managers rule through fear. Or show favoritism to people they bring in from their former companies. The CEO never hears about when good people leave because of their managers.

    Advice to Management

The CEO should take a hard look at his team. Don't let HR do it since its leadership is a big part of the problem.

    Pros

Pay, Insurance, Food ordering, Free shirts, distance.

    Cons

Poor management poor communication. Too much favoritism for their precious maintenance staff. Work the material handlers like they were slaves. Whats the meetings for if you dont listen to feed back. Stop letting your favorites do what they want. You get out there for 12 hours ans see what we all are talking about.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff
