    Pros

Travel opportunities if you want them
    Work with some good people

    Cons

On-site people are routinely ignored for their ideas or input. All decisions are made in Israel sometimes by people that have never talked to the customer. Everything in the company is becoming Israel for management and India for labor. The on-site resources or those in other countries don't matter.
Technology is outdated and new ideas are not welcome. Nobody is advancing the technology with the times. They keep solving problems the same way they always have and an idea that comes from outside of Israel is ignored any way.

    Advice to Management

Realize that people that work closely with the customers have insight and value. Do not become isolated in Israel and believe that the people there know it all about every market and customer.

I have been working at Amdocs as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

This company does have competitive salaries.

    Cons

Very Un-organized, no hierarchy, very unconventional IT lifecycle processes, little diversity, stoic/military culture even prominent with the women.

    Advice to Management

Learn the importance of having PM's, BA's, true Tech and Design Leads instead of hoping that one person can manager multiple roles in spite of their lack or expertise in said areas. Don't mistake one's knowledge OF a project as experience to LEAD said project. Everyone isn't meant to lead or manage others and their responsibilities just because of tenure.

    Pros

Good work life balance and working environment is good.

    Cons

Too much load on few talented resources. Engineering management works with minimal risk model. Very less low flexibility to pursue innovation.
Bureaucratic hiring process which leads to low performers stick in organization for long time.

    Advice to Management

    * High reliance on legacy sales model to generate the revenue.
    * Provide targets for engineering leads to generate revenue from SaaS model.
    * Reduce revenue dependency from legacy operations and make engineering heads responsible for implementation of DevOps model.
    * DO NOT BRING SALES EXPERTS TO LEAD ENGINEERING DIVISIONS.

I have been working at Amdocs full-time

    Pros

The health plan is one of the best I have ever seen!

    Cons

Amdocs is a company where the bottom line means more to management than experience and your commitment to the company. If they don't meet their numbers, they fire indiscriminately. And the remaining employees are expected to work overtime for free and pick up the slack.

    Advice to Management

Quit. And be replace by managers who care about employees, and who are not too proud to ask employees if the decision that management is about to make which will directly impact how employees do their jobs, makes sense or not...

I worked at Amdocs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are awesome. Experience brings lots of vacation time, paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, fantastic insurance.

    Cons

The work environment is horrible. No respect for the Project Managers internally. The company only places value on development and developers. If you don't code, you don't count. There is no path forward for Project Managers unless you become a Technical Project Manager.

    Advice to Management

You should respect the project managers you have sent to client sites to know what is going on with the projects. You should ask them before going to the client to see if there are areas of possible improvement or growth opportunities. You should stop ambushing their job responsibilities by trying to go for the "up sale" and check with them to see if the current effort can absorb it. You are making us look bad to the client. We are either equal partners in the engagement, or you should get out of the Project Management game altogether.

    Pros

Taking a new position can lower your pay
Mangers while technically very good, can't lead. Change minds constantly so staff is always confused
    Cultural discrimination rampant
You can't give management excuses, but management can give you excuses

    Advice to Management

    Waste of effort
