I have been working at Amdocs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast paced, great opportunities to learn, casual dress code, flexible in-office vs at home working hours

    Cons

No work-life balance, most manager jobs go to Israeli's or Indians, workforce is 40+, culture is very aggressive/threatening, company is not employee centric, very few locals are hired, constantly cutting training and travel opportunities, HR is VERY political and not employee focused, and people are not titled for the roles that they do

    Advice to Management

Stop saying you are a young company or employee centric, without actually investing in it. Hire locals. Invest in training. Stop rewarding aggressive and bully managerial styles. Align role titles with the jobs that people do. Find a way to breakdown the sentiment that promotions are based on your nationality, and not your work efforts. Allow employees to feel this is actually a place they can grow.

I have been working at Amdocs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great vacation and good benefits

    Cons

Use HR as their flex tool when not meeting numbers for wall street. Makes employees want to look elsewhere.

Not great at developing people or providing the tools for career growth. Have to figure it out on your own.

    Advice to Management

Your people could be your greatest asset if they were utilized and developed correctly.

I have been working at Amdocs full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Health Insurance & Vacation. ( if you are able to utilize it )

    Cons

Poor Management ( Mid level to Sr ). This company treats employees as a number unless you belong to a certain ethnic group. If you dont belong to that group, you will be treated badly and your concerns are brushed aside as HR is a non-existent entity . I haven't seen such a poor HR group in any major company
No career growth and promotions only happen to that ethnic group, especially if you are in some testing groups where the bias is extreme
If you are dependent on them due to immigration , they will make sure to overload you with work with no career progression.

    Advice to Management

Management is fake , and is least bothered about its employees.
