    Pros

Great team overall that was always able to produce results...could build a fire with wet leaves and a rock. Very resourceful group

    Cons

Usually tasked with "urgently" building a fire with wet leaves and a rock...with oversight from the mothership in the ISL HQ

    Advice to Management

There are some pretty smart people that weren't born Israel. Trust your teams...

I have been working at Amdocs full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule is about the only Pro I can think of.

    Cons

No work life balance. If you enjoy sitting and working 12 hours a day, then you will enjoy this company. Management does not value knowledge, they are driving the work force to India. Yearly increases and bonus are about every 3rd year.

    Advice to Management

Yearly increase and a bonus should go to everyone that contributes or no one, going to a selective few makes for an unhappy work culture. I wish management valued their US work force.

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits - better than most.

    Cons

Cultural cliques prevent true community feel.
Use of stacked ranking for annual performance reviews forcing low performers who may not truly be.
    NO work-life balance.

    Advice to Management

Take employee suggestions related to noted Cons seriously - dont be all talk and no do.

I worked at Amdocs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are awesome. Experience brings lots of vacation time, paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, fantastic insurance.

    Cons

The work environment is horrible. No respect for the Project Managers internally. The company only places value on development and developers. If you don't code, you don't count. There is no path forward for Project Managers unless you become a Technical Project Manager.

    Advice to Management

You should respect the project managers you have sent to client sites to know what is going on with the projects. You should ask them before going to the client to see if there are areas of possible improvement or growth opportunities. You should stop ambushing their job responsibilities by trying to go for the "up sale" and check with them to see if the current effort can absorb it. You are making us look bad to the client. We are either equal partners in the engagement, or you should get out of the Project Management game altogether.
