    -Flex work schedule
    -Relatively laid back environment

    Cons

    -Company has difficulty executing contracts as viewed by customers
    -No structure for policies or chain of command within company
    -No internal development of talent
    -Little to no training
    -Pay grades and process for advancement no communicated to employees

    Advice to Management

    -Create programs to develop employees
    -Create a more centralized structure to give a more familiar face to clients worldwide

    Pros

    Even though the acquisition of FW by Amec led to a lot of departures of talent, there are some good people and leadership remaining with the company.

    Cons

    Company needs to catch up with 21st century EPC tools, practices, so its people can succeed in today's and tomorrow's environment.

    Projects are managed by construction folks with no engineering or project controls or management culture!

    Wood is buying Amec Foster Wheeler and perhaps there will be a management improvement
