Pros
Half decent pay (based on our cost of living)
Cons
Payroll from corporate is HORRIBLE, get over paid one check, underpaid one check, PTO is wrong, vacation is wrong, people in lower cost of living areas making more than higher cost of living areas, pay stubs with so many different lines you can’t tell if you’re over/underpaid, we don’t know our PTO, Vacation pay, etc) the payroll dept. can’t do math apparently, they don’t respect the employees that keep their customers lives in their hands. All these things lead to low motivation for long term employees. They forget qualification pay for MONTHS at a time, then pay it out on a paycheck, so it gets taxed waaay more than should be. This company’s accounting/payroll department at a corporate level is the worst I’ve seen, even from small businesses.

Don't care about contracted employees
Apr 24, 2023 - Aircraft Mechanic 1 in Fort Hood, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Liked working with the guys on the hanger floor. Enjoyed supporting our troops and working on the aircraft.
Cons
HR might as well be CR (corporate resources). They do not care about the contracted employees. They show support for the corporation only and the investors pockets. Their policies are very over reaching and micro-managing. Was told that the policies are 1st and the aircraft are about 3rd to 4th on the list of priorities.

Great Pay for the work decent benefits after site union established
Cons
Front line managers were decent but upper management had no corridnation people constantly leaving. By the time I left an entry level office admin had become assistant site lead by just sticking around the longest with no practical experience. Eventually ran contract into the ground and the government did not renew the contract. Otherwise I was happy enough with the pay and front line managers that I would have stuck around

Such incompetence
Jan 19, 2023 - Helicopter Mechanic in Albuquerque, NMRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pay is good, when or if we get paid.
Cons
This company should be embarrassed from the top down in regards to their management, or mismanagement in this case. Since the beginning of this contract, nothing has been accomplished correctly. Lack of equipment, pay incorrect for two years straight, lack of medical insurance when people were having kids, vacation being withheld, and withholding 401k contributions to name just a few. At this point, it feels like a shell game of "mistakes" so that nobody can keep track and they can get away with embezzling. This company, including site managers, don't care about employees but only about their pay bonuses. It's almost as if the current presidential administration is in the top seats of this company.
