    Keep doing what your doing but, help people transitioning out of the programs secure even temporary work within or outside the placement agency to assist with integration into the main workforce.

    Americorps is an excellent program to gain experience in the non-profit world while also contributing to your community!

    Cons

    Living on a stipend can obviously be difficult, and experience really varies based on your placement, and there are definitely some host organizations that are not the most organized
