    Training , There needs to be a training in place with a clear roadmap

    Advice to Management

    Dont go the micro manage route and have a solid training propgram in place before new employees start.

    i loved the people there

    run skeleton crews and managers are by default forced to do employees jobs and their own jobs

    Decent pay, some cool people.

    on call rotation is horrible, you can be denied bonuses and raises.

    Advice to Management

    Stop the goodfellas network. Reward hard workers, not buddies.

    management ladder leaves something to be desired, seasonal hours change drastically, expensive benefits

    When establishing a philosophy for your employees to follow, ensure that it truly applies to all. This would avoid any issues going forward.

    Propane can be dangerous. Full tanks are heavy.

    Pros

    Nice friendly co workers, decent benefits, nice, modern, comfortable offices. Flexible working hours. Most employees very knowledgable about the company and propane business.

    Cons

    Very dated software systems for some departments. Management out of touch with the actual real life issues effecting day to day operations

    Advice to Management

    Upgrade software before it totally breaks down. Stop spending so much on consultants, they cost a fortune and don't add much to productivity
