    Good benifits. Great people to work with.

    Some departments are much better to work in than others.

    Full support from new management allows for ownership of job responsibilities and promotes out of the box thinking.

    Inconsistent departmental structures but working to improve

    Continue to listen to employees and continue to improve communication

    Pros

    Cheap medical and dental coverage. Great people to work with. Gave bonuses if you met your goals.

    Cons

    The pay is not great and then your raise is affected because of sales when you are a customer service rep, not a sales person.

    Advice to Management

    A raise should be based on a person's main job and something else that's only done on weekends.

    Pros

    Your Co-workers are great at the manager level and below. HR does try to accommodate their employees requests.

    Cons

    Poor business plan
    They are ignoring the current change in retail.
    Tools and resources used on site are seriously outdated. Working here will cause you to become out dated.

    Office area and equipment is equivalent to working in a dusty poorly lit warehouse.

     There is zero room for professional growth

    Pros

    With a proactive approach, Amerimark would accommodate my scheduling needs. Whether it was day shift or night shift they did their best to grant my request.

    Cons

    Amerimark makes no investment in their employees. Very unorganized and not very useful training throughout my 7 years with the company. Employees are not given the proper training to improve their sales. Leads were often recycled so many times that the same customers were called repeatedly - to the point that they became irate. Most days the sales floor is downbeat and depressing. Also, management tended to be unconcerned and aloof when approached by frustrated and discouraged employees.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your employees. Treat them with respect and acknowledge their concerns. Come up with a more professional and organized training department. Promote a positive sales floor with effective supervisors.

    Formerly a family-centered company, a great atmosphere. Advancement was possible with hard work and dedication

    Cons

    New management very impersonal, driven solely by the numbers. Did not take the opportunity to get to know the employees, despite the "workforce analysis" excersize.

    Pros

    Little if any
    Some times they will give you heat in the winter time depending on where you work

    Cons

    Management verbally abuses workers
    There is no basic respect for fellow employees
    Bad culture is promoted at all levels of organization

    Change the culture and respect your employees and customers before its too late

    Pros

    AmeriMark has been in business for almost 50 years. There has been only 1 layoff in the past 10 years. Most people I know there have been there for years.

    Cons

    Pay is a little below market.

    Pros

    Consistent hours, easy work - not hard to learn at all

    Cons

    The heat/cold of the warehouse on some days, some of the people who are a bit too talkative

    Advice to Management

    A little less talking from some employees, or at least a little more work
