    Pros

There is a good group of people that work here. Lots of ideas to help the company grow.

    Cons

Management request change, but doesn't want to implement it. No decisions are made about ideas. Little room to grow.

    Advice to Management

Open yourselves to change and innovation. People are here wanting to better the company and help it grow.

I worked at AmeriPro Funding full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I met some really great people and keep in contact with quite a few. As far as the company itself, there isn't much to write home about.

    Cons

There are too many games played at the corporate management level and a severe lack of accountability and followthrough. Nobody said what they meant, they were manipulative and pulled the rug out from under many people, and teamwork and the support needed was painfully nonexistent. The culture they promoted sounded great, but it didn't exist. Turnover rates were outrageous, and promoted change never actually happened.

    Advice to Management

    Simply listen to your employees.

    Pros

I can't really think of any. There are a few good people that work there, but it is just a matter of time before they leave, too.

    Cons

Lack of communication from management. Many cut throat things have happened in my time there. Even the President got screwed by having a CEO come in over him, but nobody told him it was happening. This is a common thread here. no 401k match. Terrible and expensive medical insurance.

    Advice to Management

communicate. pay better. match 401k. offer better insurance. Listen to your employees! Offer tuition reimbursement. Stop letting your good employees go because you don't want to pay them. They are what makes the company good.

I worked at AmeriPro Funding full-time

    Pros

the people who helped build the entire company

    Cons

Those same people are no longer valued

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Management is knowledgeable about the business, but does not work well together as team. The Executive Management at the holding company, Tenura, does not live the culture that is stated and it rolls downhill from there.

    Cons

    Work environment is pretty miserable.

    Advice to Management

Live the culture posted on the wall or change what is posted on the wall.

I worked at AmeriPro Funding full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ameripro Funding is a company that doesn't just talk about culture, they live it! The President, Chad Overhauser, is about the most accessible President you will find anywhere, and he is always open to suggestions regarding how to make the company better. SVP of Operations, Pam Jenkins, is one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever met in the mortgage business, and enjoys mentoring others. VP of Secondary Marketing, Tad Hensley, is the all-knowing secondary guru who taught me Secondary Marketing from the ground up, and was patient with me even when I didn't always understand certain concepts the first time. I enjoyed my four years at Ameripro, and if it hadn't been for my wife and me leaving the state for personal reasons I would still be happily employed at Ameripro.

    Cons

Every company has its share of ups and downs, but there were no glaring issues worth mentioning.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, and do everything possible to maintain the great culture that you worked so hard to develop.

I worked at AmeriPro Funding full-time

    Pros

great location, friendly co-workers, nice atmosphere

    Cons

unless you were management or a big producer you weren't really appreciated. A lot of favortism by upper management.

They say they will give you all the tools you need to succeed but the training is just not there. They "have no time".

    Advice to Management

Spend more time on training employees and recognize when your employees are struggeling and when they are doing a great job, even if they are not in a production position.
