I have been working at America Chung Nam full-time

    Pros

Rapid, consistent growth as a company. In addition, the company has an unique culture that blends American, Chinese, and European styles. Strong bonus pay program, especially as you perform.

    Cons

The company can be a very demanding and borderline stressful place to work at times. However, the work load is fair and designed for high performers.

I worked at America Chung Nam full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I really enjoyed working at ACN. The pay was fair, the benefits were good, and the people are great! This is a fast-paced company, and everyone is focused on getting their work done. I really liked going to California every year for the Annual Party. Also, the various social events in the Jersey City office really made us feel like a community. The two managers are great role models and always support us.

    Cons

After having worked at ACN for a couple of years, I became accustomed to the benefits and started to feel entitled. The chitchat among the staff fosters some negativity about the company that aren't necessarily legitimate. I resigned because I thought I could get a better job with more pay at a better company. After joining another company, I realized that ACN was better than I perceived. At the end of the day, there are positives and negatives anywhere you work, and I chose to focus on the negatives. Now I wish I didn't leave ACN.

    Advice to Management

Better communication from headquarters to regional offices.

I have been working at America Chung Nam full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The management team is really motivated and solutions-focused. Great benefits - free medical, dental, life, and vision insurance! Not many layers of management or bureaucracy - when I go to my manager with a problem, the problem can be resolved and directly. ACN has recently started implementing several training programs that are interesting and helpful. My favorite is the Lunch & Learn where my peers present about industry and company information. It's great being a part of a global company, and it feels like a global company because we work with people from around the world on a regular basis. ACN also has a big party at the end of the year, and my wife always looks forward to the party because it's so big and grand.

    Cons

Expectations are high and demanding, but you are rewarded if you meet or exceed your expectations. The company gives 5 days/year of vacation for first year employees and 10 days/year for employees after 1 year - this could be better.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen and get input from the employees. The new "Coffee with Ken" meetings where staff can have time to chat with the Vice Chair is a great idea. Also, the newsletter is a great way to inform the company of things going on outside of our department.
