    Pros

The processes set in place make it easy for no mistakes

    Cons

Takes forever to receive a commission with their process, management doesn't care about the well being of their employees, their hiring process for new employees is bogus

    I worked at America's Home Place full-time

    Pros

Moved to a different position not because of money but location. Being a building consultant is the best job at Americas Home Place in my opinion. You have to be very knowledgeable about construction and CAD. You also have to be very good with people. If you haven't already been to school they can send you, and have an in house school.

    Cons

The only con is you have to work long days sometimes, but that's how you make good money.
The interview process is very extreme, but very rewarding if you are hired.

    Cons

Positive performance evaluations should warrant merit pay, No direct deposit,

    Advice to Management

Continue hiring great people while offering the option of upward mobility!

I have been working at America's Home Place (More than a year)

    Pros

America's Home Place is a great place to work.
It is an enjoyable job and I look forward to going to work there anytime I can.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is there is no Full-time position available for me.

    Advice to Management

Create another full-time position so I can come to work there everyday.
Also keep me in mind if there is ever an opening. Thanks

    Pros

America Home Place invest in great technology and allows the drafters to introduce original design and concepts into customs home designs.

    Cons

There is limited career advancement opportunities and ouside of CAD work your development in construction knowledge is left to you.

    Advice to Management

Develope opportunities for CAD Designers to grow and advance within the company structure.

    Pros

The benefits and pay were fair given the time of the market place. Flexible with taking time off. Compensation for phone and vehicle use.

    Cons

The kool aid of the day made the S.O.P. of the place indeterminate. Management was disconnected from the process and excuse all away with using Narnia based logic.

    Advice to Management

Do not look at what is trending. If there is a process in place and it is working stick with it. While it may need some tweaking from time to time it does not need to be overhauled continually to be successful.
