Pros
Remote, the sent everything you need fast and IT was always willing to help. Able at times to get monthly bonuses. OT has always available when needed
Cons
New manager- Micromanagement. No OT unless approved 10 mins before your shift is over via email. Got warning and write ups if you had 5 mins of OT. Bonuses were NOT guaranteed by managers opinion. Over worked by Manger.

Pros
Teamwork Diversity, 54% women, of which a high percentage identify as POC Remote, flexibility
Cons
Lately it feels so disorganized and the burnout is intense. Back to Back meetings all day every day with no coherence to which project takes priority over another. Management seems to get on meetings with no clear direction once we get off, so it feels like days are spent going in circles. Paid vacation time is below market average at only 2 weeks a year. We don't even get MLK day off, the paid holidays are a bit of a joke. Growth seems to be advertised but no one shares what it takes to get promoted or get to the next step. Pay is also on the low end compared to other companies.

Pros
Good quality training and not micromanaged
Cons
None that I can think of

Pros
1) Company pays for all of you schooling, 2) They sponsor you in 6-8 states to sell, sell, sell 3) Commission and Base Pay ( Benefits, 410K, Vacation, Personal Days) 4) Growth throughout company
Cons
1) The training is based on old sales concepts, which make you should like a sales man. The couching/mentoring is always changing, they ask you to sound like other LO's that been with the company for years. Where they get 60 to 90 leads a month. 2) Having a loan quote that isn't realistic with the lead count the start you off with. 3) The Base pay is on temporary, it goes from $20 to $8 after a couple months, you have to build your pipeline so you don't starve to death. Loans take an average of 90-120 Days to close.
Continue readingDue to the nature of the mortgage industry and the loan officer position there is always a ramp up time to build a pipeline. All employees are compensated accordingly during this initial period. There are many variables that go into a loans funding time, these items are not within AAG’s realm of control. Our company cares greatly for each employee and all job expectations and responsibilities are communicated up front during the interview and recruitment process. We encourage our employees to make career choices that they feel best suit their own personal and financial needs. At AAG, we are constantly working to adjust and improve our processes and the employees and businesses successes.
- Current Employee★★★★★

Cons

- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★

Cons
I would like better benefits

Pros
1. You get to clock in-- who doesn't like to clock in and begin to get paid?
Cons
1. Micromanaging is beyond insane. I was emailed from a member of management about forwarding an email to a coworker. I cannot begin to explain how this company has the time to be soooo busy training new hires into thinking they're going to make sooo much money in bonuses, yet find the time to micromanage. 2. The bonuses they tell you about are all a lie. Taxes eat them away. 3. Do not accept "Snappy" gift cards etc. as those gift cards are taxed and you essentially are paying for a "company gift." 4. This company literally does not provide you with the proper training on how to handle disgruntled, angry, and belligerent customers. 5. The Loan Officers are the people the CSRs have to transfer the customers to. The Loan Officers are rude and disrespectful. I was even told by management that they make the company money and to let them do their thing and "fall in line." 6.
