I have been working at American Campus Communities (More than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunities to move up with the company and gain professional experience, rent discount is nice, living on property makes the job awesome

    Cons

Not enough pay. Don't let you work more than 15-18 hours a week and they don't give commission. Pay is $9 an hour and this job does not provide enough money or hours to afford basic expenses on its own.

    Advice to Management

Let CA's work more hours or pay us more. We don't get commission and it feels like they take advantage of us.

I have been working at American Campus Communities part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great part time job for college students. Most properties offer discount on rent and competitive pay. Also a plus when you live at the property you work at because it makes selling the property much easier.

    Cons

Corporate sees employees as expendable and does not really care if you don't like their policies. No commission is offered which is absurd because many other student housing properties offer a commission.

    Advice to Management

Actually take into consideration what the CA's have to say.
