I have been working at American Eagle Outfitters part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone that works here is really nice and easy to get along with, including the management. The discounts on merchandise are insane and the overall environment is so relaxing and no where near toxic. We’re never burned out and I’m usually very excited to come to work (which has never been a thing for me). The work culture is accepting of everyone regardless of sex, race, or sexual orientation and it feels like a family.

    Cons

    The pay is only 7.25/hr

I have been working at American Eagle Outfitters part-time for more than a year

    Pros

The discounts and awesome co workers

    Cons

The pressure to sign up people for the rewards program/credit card is insane. The rewards are usually easy to get, it’s free and simple, but if people say no, they say no! With the credit card, they make it seem that if you don’t get at least 2 a shift, you’re not trying hard enough. I’ll honestly go weeks without getting a single credit card sign up, and that’s simply because they all say no! Im not gonna beg someone to apply for a store credit card, credit is a huge and important thing and not everyone wants one! Honestly, if American Eagle as a company simply didn’t have the store credit cards, working here would just be a little more bearable. Also the pay! With all the work and stress they put you through, the pay is so underwhelming. $8.75 an hour.
