    Pros

Design center would try to be scrappy and creative to throw events and give back when possible.

    Cons

No leadership presence from CEO. Retail overall is a hard business and is faced with unique challenges.

I worked at American Eagle Outfitters part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great work environment with a good management that never takes things too seriously. Flexible hours and they are happy to place you in a part of the store you like best. Low-stress job that can be boring at times, best for students and those who just want part-time work.

    Cons

Scheduling mistakes, sometimes I would go 3 weeks without being scheduled. If you can't work black Friday be prepared to be let go.

    Advice to Management

Tell employees the strict Black Friday rules more than a week in advance.

I have been working at American Eagle Outfitters part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Positive work environment for the most part. The discount is probably the best than any other place that you would work at.

    Cons

Believe they should sell as much as a commission store without getting commission. Management is petty and there are so many company politics.

    Advice to Management

Don’t treat leads as more managers. They don’t get paid the same way or get the same benefits as you do.
