    Pros

The interview process is simple and I believe the application process is now online. You get a call for an interview date and you get questions that they ask from a list that are generally situation questions and reflective questions. You then may get a call back, but it typically takes awhile. They are looking for someone who is smart enough to do what they are told, social enough to sell their products, pleasant enough to maintain their brand image and build loyalty, and generally. a team worker. I would say that during the interview process you need to be able to maintain a comfortable conversation that is back and forth between you and the interviewer, don't make it all about you, This shows them that you are able to do that with a customer. They are also looking for professionalism, they typically do not hire people who apply dressed like a slob, or are disrespectful in the store. i.e filling an application while in the store and blocking customers.

Depending on management and the rest of the associates, it is a great environment for a first job. I found that I built my social skills. The discounts are good you get 40%, 60%, and 80% off depending on your employment status. There are also competitions where you can win free items or discounts.

The hours are flexible, but that is more to your manager's discretion. It is also dependent on if there is someone to cover your shift.

It treats it's customers well, so you never feel like you are ripping them off or lying to them. So customers tend to leave happy. For example returns do not have an expiration date, but you are encouraged to have them buy something else and sell the deals.

It is generally the same day in and day out. There were not that many workers in my store so coverage was slightly thin. The opening shift consist of cleaning, finishing up any projects, and packaging products for delivery. Mid-day shift are the same, you are basically selling/helping customers, and maintaining the store. Closing shift has you taking out trash, selling, cleaning, and other stuff, There are other shifts such as floorset where you are basically rebuilding a room for product, setting up the window display, dressing the mannequins, Inventory where you count the number of product in the entire store. There is also a shift where you unbox, sensor, and size the new product from the boxes.

    Cons

They tell you that there is room to move up, but I have never seen it happen.

Credit card penetration is one of the main things they are constantly trying to push. This is because 'loyalty' will have the customers returning. A lot of hours given to you are typically dependent on the loyalty you can get, to boost their numbers,

They don't really hand our raises, what you start off with is typically what you get forever.
