Work/Life balance excellent. Good benefits. A lot of flexibility with your schedule. 5/4 schedule is an option.
Cons
Pay use to be competetive. But it seems to be falling way behind the market (at least in IT). Turn over seems to be high lately as a result. Hard work is usually rewarded with more hard work rather than increased compensation.

Had a decent work/life balance because I was hourly and no overtime was allowed.

I was placed in an office as a marketer for a foreign agent. I could not help 75% of the clientele as a result because she was a niche agent. I was expected to produced the same amount of business as the rest of the office who were established and spoke the same language as the agent.
