I have been working at American Greetings part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team to work with! Training is available online and in person. Territory manager is available and answers questions as needed. You work on your own. I like meeting local store managers and employees and feeling I am a part of the community I serve.
Performance evaluations are provided , helpful and followed up with supportive improvement. Great swag..love my Tablet Bag!

    Cons

Low pay. Not sure what the measured steps are to pay increases?

    Advice to Management

Provide more efficient service with computer and tech questions. I have an Apple Tablet and have not been able to take the 201 trainings yet.

I worked at American Greetings part-time

    Pros

Cards are beautiful and captivating, price levels for all families.

    Cons

Looked at the top and they are living large paying themselves grand, that being said very poor pay for the amount of work and stress. Outdated scanners that did not work. Outdated system. Tons of wasted cards thrown out not recycled which really broke my heart.

    Advice to Management

Make your company worth while it is a great product.

I worked at American Greetings part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Mostly flexible hours, some nice co-worker, some nice manager

    Cons

Continues bigger workload, less hours, some so called "know-it-all-bosses" with no clue

    Advice to Management

Value your people more and pay the ones working hard and always perform under hours with a raise. Appreciated employees work even harder :)
