I worked at American Healthcare (More than a year)

    Pros

I thought they paid pretty good for a part time receptionist.

    Cons

My supervisor was a kid and this was her first job out of college and she seemed to be very immature to be in the position of a supervisor. She was hired for the position by a friend of hers and she had no experience.

    Advice to Management

I think you should hire mature people to be in management positions.

I worked at American Healthcare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Aka, Heritage Hall. Worked with some of the best nurses and aides I have ever known. They truly care about the residents.

    Cons

Definitely upper management. Then the cliques with upper management that get whatever they want while others pay for it. Lack of structure in management, lack of knowing their jobs. Burnout in nursing director until they fail or refuse to address major issues. No equality. Pay stinks especially with the amount of work done.

    Advice to Management

See above paragraph and LISTEN to your nurses and aides who know the residents. Separate SN from LTC. Money should not be the defining factor but what is best for the little residents. When your staff suffers it gets transferred to them. OVERWORKED!!

I worked at American Healthcare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Top management is very flexible with facility administration and truly support the "upside down" pyramid concept of ideas coming from the bottom and "corporate" being a resource for them. They also recognize talent, allowing for career growth regardless of age, gender or race.

    Cons

I cannot think of anything negative to say yet I am supposed to use a minimum of 20 words in this section. I guess this tells you where I stand...
