      Pros

There are some hard working people who are trying. Easy to rise up in several departments if you’re motivated because the salaries are so weak it’s tough to attract good people. It’s a lot like Club Med. You can see people walking around the building’s parking lot all hours of the day and nobody says anything (Yay wellness!!!) It seems to keep succeeding in spite of its senior managers.

      Cons

Slowly disappearing benefits Need to squabble over money constantly Upper Management doesn’t make decisions (nobody wants to be wrong) Too many catchy acronyms that are soul killing and meaningless. ACE is the flavor of the year, nice aiming point but a complete joke when this place is steeped in processes that make zero sense and are not agile, collaborative or engaging.

        Pros

        You are your own boss

        Cons

Archaic applications/system, no assistance from colleagues in creating leads. No help from upper management. Spending tons of your own money for computer, printer, office equipment, etc. Wear & tear on your auto. Tons of cold calling

Anyone have any stories of times where you declined an offer at one company (just because it wasn’t the exact right fit or you got another better offer at that time) and u successfully re-connect? Is that a burned bridge forever? Would they consider you for another job again?
