    Positive Outlook

I worked at American Progressive Life & Health Insurance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good Benefits, co-workers were great in the Miami office. 2-3 times per year you would get together with other employees.

    Cons

No balance of life as an MRR. Expected to work 10 to 12 hours per day to complete assignments, and given the luxury of being an exempt employee! Due to fraud in market, company protocols make it very difficult to complete work in a timely manner, and employees are expected to consistently work 60 hour weeks to be considered as only meeting expectations.

    Advice to Management

Corporate office needs to spend time with the people in the trenches and see what the lower level managers expecting of people in this role.

I worked at American Progressive Life & Health Insurance full-time

    Pros

The organization as a whole have good intentions, upper management is friendly and easy to talk to. They have good benefits and have flexible work schedules to the most part...

    Cons

There is little leadership or support by direct Supervisors or managers. They tend to spend most of their time pushing numbers and covering their butts to include throwing their staff under the bus. The workload is unrealistic...and the expectations extremely high with minimal support causing a stressful work environment and high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire staff into management positions that cannot relate well with employees.
