    Graduate Assistant - SIS

    Aug 2, 2022 - Assistant Program Officer
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

I was a grad assistant as part of my tuition, and the position gave me a lot of opportunities to work along side AU's professors and do hands-on research. Work is diverse and constantly changing by the semester so it was always fresh.

    Cons

Sometimes the changes were not for the better. Your work experience will greatly depend on how the professor you work for decides to treat you. While two of my professors were great, a third was extremely hard to get a hold of and get any actual work from. Ran into issues with the administration with that.
