    Many opportunities to be on challenging and unique projects that aid in great experience and resume building

    Cons

    Contractors are most times treated different than Full Time staff, and leadership can often micromanage. Projects can be demanding where some work long hours week over week, and leadership still demands more

    Pros

    Pay for licensing 5% 401k match (5 years until 100% vested) 9 managers in 6.5 years, majority of them were good people! Benefits bench marked to be average / slightly below avg, but at least it's something!

    Before you begin working in the Ameriprise Advisor Center (AAC), you have to ask yourself if you're comfortable working for a large and shrinking organization. Over past 6.5yrs the number of people with "VP" in title has increased from 1 to 4. Number of "Directors" increased from 3 to 4.     Advice to Management

    You don't need to be so top heavy, get rid of Wanless and Shaini and bring back Lukens. Morale would improve. Abolish the CSC team, and integrate them back into regional teams. They will learn more and hopefully stop wasting everyone's time scheduling appointments with people we cannot help. Or at least have them come in later and stay later so they're calling people people who have incomes, not during the day when...

    Matrix organization structure and each role is very entrepreneurial. You are given tools and resources to leverage to the best of your abilities.
