    Cons

HR has no voice of their own India Management is underwhelming (barring a few) Compensation Structure is horrible and is designed to confuse employees to give them a sense of earning more than what they actually do Horrible attitude towards IJP

    Cons

The compensation is primarily focused on commission and client fees so need to have good sale skills.

Former Intern, less than 1 year

    Rewarding, if sometimes under-appreciated work.

Sep 6, 2012 - Intern in Conshohocken, PA

    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

-As an Intern, I learned a lot about the Financial Advisor profession. -Coworkers were enjoyable and willing to teach. -High upside for advisors with good marketing and sales skills. -The advisor I worked for gave me a cash gift when I left as compensation for the unpaid internship.

    Cons

-Company seemed a bit behind the times from a tech standpoint. -Company seemed to have more stories of advisors failing, than succeeding. -Internship was unpaid.
