I worked at Ameristar Casinos full-time

    Pros

Good benefits and base pay. Consistent income. Management cares deeply about employees. Promote within. Fun staff.

    Cons

If you are full-time you need to stick around and wait for a better sonority. Attendance point system took a year to knock off. If you work days they drag on and are dull. Clothes smell like smoke after work. If you work nights difficult to balance with life.

Quicker response time, more appreciation events to show you care about front line employees, loosen rules a little and it'll make things smoother

I worked at Ameristar Casinos full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overall great company. Good benefits. Pay has improved, but still needs improvement!

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Offer opportunity for PT staff to cover to allow FT staff opportunity to have more weekends/holiday time off if desired. Improve praise for job well done over constantly harping to do more and do things better! Management is rarely around when needed on Swing shift!
