I worked at Ameritox part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you're looking for a production lab job this is fine. Environment feels very corporate. I liked the people I worked with for the most part.

    Cons

Does not appear to care about well being of employees. Closed a branch with very little warning while I was there.

    Advice to Management

Make it clear that employees are valued and not simply replaceable cogs in a corporate machine.

I have been working at Ameritox full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are great people there doing good, quality work. The company has a commitment to improving patient care by developing quality tests.

    Cons

Constant talk about the "industry shakeout" that upper management indicates they have handled. It has been over a year since the last layoffs, so we'll see.

I worked at Ameritox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are some truly wonderful people here that tried their very best to be helpful and supportive and I am sincerely grateful for my experience with them.

    Cons

Save yourself a lot of grief and don't work in HR until they resolve some issues. The team has some very talented members, but there is much needed change that must happen before they bring anyone else into the group without impacting them in a profoundly negative way.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your high performing and hard working employees.

    Pros

    Exceptional product. Highly ethical company.

    Cons

Terrible leadership from the CEO down. Lack of growth is continually blamed on a "lazy" sales force, rather than poor structure, strategy, planning and execution by the leadership. Boiler room environment.

    Advice to Management

You have hardworking, intelligent professionals on your sales team. Look to them for guidance, rather than using them as scapegoats.

    Pros

Good people. I really liked who I worked with and for. This job can be a step into medical sales for those from the business to business sales world.

    Cons

The company is not customer focused. There is a ridiculous amount of competition in the marketplace. It has become a tough sell. It can be difficult to sell accounts, but much harder to keep them.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your customers more and look for ways to differentiate yourselves in the market. You should really consider selling more products/services outside of UDT since UDT has become so cluttered.

I worked at Ameritox (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's good place for people to mingle with different cultures. events are planned yearly as there is fun committe.

    Cons

Monthly one Sunday we work but we don't get paid as contractor. Personally I do not like as there is no work ethics.

    Advice to Management

This goes to my team management in specific ,

I saw there is so much personal. If they do not like someone personally, they end the contract and keep the one with personal reference.

Please use the power to take right decision instead of having people with recommendations.
