I have been working at Amfuel (More than a year)

    Pros

    Decent manufacturing work, and interesting.
CEO is a very nice guy who actually listens to employees. This is relatively unheard of in many businesses especially manufacturing jobs.

    Cons

    Appear somewhat disorganized.

Feels like they are potentially dishonest or deceptive with employees on some issues, whether this is on purpose or because of said disorganization Is hard to say.

Pay is not very good at all compared to other manufacturing jobs, one could stock groceries for the same pay that Amfuel expects you to handcraft government and civilian fuel cells, which is complicated, somewhat tedious and exacting work.

    Advice to Management

Too many chiefs, not enough indians.

    Cons

Very negative place to work. Management lies. Cannot keep needed material and cement to build the products. Trainers are i unskilled. Supervisors are lazy. Too much playing and foolishness goes on during work hours.

    Advice to Management

Implement 360 degree evaluations as soon as possible if you want to save the company. Hire all new supervisors. Get rid of the union.. get a better absentee policy. Give incentive bonuses

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The product goes toward helping our nation's warriors.Cost of living in area is pretty low comapred to bigger work centers in the state.

    Cons

Horrid working conditions, complete mismanagement of company by local as well as corporate leaders, dishonest actions by local management, physical shape of facilities is antiquated and actually dangerous.

    Advice to Management

Management team needs to think employee first instead of self-preservation. That may lead to better relations with work force. Management, from new CEO on down, are so arrogant, conniving, and dishonest that there is no way that the company will be able to be successful.
