I have been working at Amphenol full-time

    Pros

We get to dictate our own projects, much of the time. There is so much low hanging fruit, it's easy to make a difference.

Pay is decent, especially for the area.

    Cons

Direction is sometimes unclear. There is TOO MUCH low hanging fruit. Sometimes it's difficult to finish one project without getting others piled on.

    Pros

Typical 9-5 job, wasn't a ton of overtime which is good on Salary. Most people were nice.

I have been working at Amphenol full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay. You are able to work on projects in between work orders. They will usually buy parts for non-emergency projects. Paid vacation after a year. 13 paid holidays a year.

    Cons

You may never get on the shift you were hired for. Someone with more seniority can bump you to get your shift ( this happens mostly to first shift workers ). The new plant is poorly designed so you may have to walk a long way to get parts. Little engineering help, expect to design things yourself.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to your employees, they will stop trusting you. Don't expect some employees to be productive when you allow others to do very little.

I worked at Amphenol full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

None, I seriously can't think of any reason why people would want to work here.

    Cons

Too many to mention: Awful work environment with aggressive management style, less than industry norm compensation, bonus-plan designed to minimize payout, if any. Management only focus on month by month numbers, everything else is unimportant. Terrible relationships at key customers.

    Advice to Management

None, you never listen to any feedback you get.
