I have been working at Amtel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sky is the limit on commissions. If your hungry and want to make serious $$$ Amtel gives you that ability

    Cons

Too many changes w promos and goals but it's based on Carrier changes. Could make you dizzy. Retail hours are retail hours love it or leave it

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to Frontline and recognizing your People.

I have been working at Amtel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The employees seem nice enough

    Cons

If youre in one of the three store in the company that hit goal you may be ok...if the commission team doesn't take away your money or change goals on you. There is no set goal per month and it consistently changes so its hard to hit. They recently took out some profit for activation but didn't adjust goal. After seeing two reviews on Google from current corporate employees, I think most of these are fake. Go to corporate, its better.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people and fire the family members that are in corporate office

I have been working at Amtel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

High pay for performers. Growing company. Cool owners who takes an interest in what front-line thinks. Director of Sales Bill Hodac is a good leader who cares for people and great developer. He inspired me to do good. Every time I talk with him he makes me see things different and makes me feel good about the company. I have a good manager that helps me improve daily.

    Cons

More perks for employees. More sales taining for employees. High expectations for performance. Benefits but costly.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to people. More stuff around recognition. Not everyone is motivated by money but everyone likes perks.

I have been working at Amtel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You work with the newest technology. You get a discount your cell phone bill.

    Cons

They don't have a 401k options. You don't get PTO until you worked for the company for 1 year as a full time employee. The Commission is a lot lower than corporate TMobile. The company is very disorganized.

I have been working at Amtel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amtel quickly adapts to change in market. Pay structure for RSM is competitive, if you achieve goal. Growing very quickly and opening all over the country. New VP has grand plans and is a strong leader.

    Cons

Lacks accountability. Outside of theft it is almost impossible to get let go. Many bottom feeders in all positions from DM down. Recruiting continues to bring on talent that is sub par which hurts stores.

    Advice to Management

Hold employees accountable, good or bad. Focus on basic sales skills before moving to advanced selling. Don't allow the voice a few to change the entire company. Many of those voices are bottom performers making excuses for their inability to drive sales.
